With more than 250,000 artifacts, the highlight remains the treasures of King Tutankhamun, including his golden mask, jewelry, and treasures that were sealed in his tomb for over 3,500 years until their discovery in the 1920s.

Next, continue to the Giza Plateau, where the legendary Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos stand tall as eternal symbols of ancient engineering. Stand in awe before the Great Sphinx and explore the Valley Temple, part of the pyramid complex.

(Note: The library is closed on Fridays and public holidays; entry to the reading area requires an additional ticket.)

Visit the historic site of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, where today stands the Citadel of Qaitbay. Continue to the beautiful Royal Gardens of King Farouk, the last king of Egypt, and admire the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek.
