Begin your Cairo sightseeing with a visit to the Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara, the oldest monumental stone structure in the world, built during the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, continue to the Giza Plateau to admire the iconic Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, followed by a visit to the Great Sphinx, the legendary guardian with the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion dating back to the reign of Chephren. Return to the hotel.
